Rips (DSK, LHC) started writing Rips in the early 90's. Surrounded by fierce competion in the city of Leiden, home of a lot of very talented graffiti writers. He soon found out he needed to burn in the scene. After a long time doing what did he got recognition and was invited in the LHC (Leiden Hardcore) and the DSK (Dope Style KIngs). In that environment he learned from the best around: Yalt, Days, Hater and Hork. He became better and better and evolved in an all-round graffiti writer. Dope Style Kings for life.

The last 10 years he's been focussing on big murals and paintings with a role for Pop Eye. There he plays with Pop Eye and letters.
