Blade was one of the leading figures in the New York graffiti and European street art scenes in the 1980's.
That vast number of large works that covered entire subway trains yielded him the title 'King of Trains'.
His work always revolves around his name, but often also features cartoon or comic characters.
The Amsterdam-based gallery owner Yaki Kornblit encouraged him to start working on canvas. Come On In is Blade's first painting.
